Notes
from
the
floor,
July
3,
2008
Congratulations
to Maria Virch, 16,
of Marquette who has
been named as the Explainer
of the Quarter. According
to UPCM Education Coordinator
Jim Edwards, Maria is
very dependable and
is also very creative
in helping little kids.
She comes in most Wednesdays
to help out. Maria is
the daughter of Bill
and Hope Virch. Thanks
for all you do Maria!
The
Children’s
Museum is once again hosting the Marquette Yellow Bikes
program! It is a free, community resource with a goal of
keeping our residents healthy. There are bicycles of all
sizes for your use, although the selection is limited.
These are well-used bikes, but the price is right. The
bikes are checked out on a system similar to a library
system so be prepared to leave an item as collateral. To
learn more about the Yellow Bikes program, inquire at the
Museum Store.
