Sprout––Toys
for Growing Minds Opens!
Our new store
was designed
by local
youth and
now includes
a wide variety
of educational
and
fun toys
and goodies.
An important
new addition
to the store
is the Kid
Bizness Corner, a new program of the Children’s
Museum where young entrepreneurs, ages eight to 18,
are
selling goods they have designed and produced themselves.
There is an impressive array of clever items for
sale. Come check
out their products and find out more about the program.
The complete renovation of the store, along with the start
up of the Kid Business Program, was made possible by a generous
donation from the M. E. Davenport Foundation.
Also, please
allow us to help improve
the Museum and help
us continue to improve
Sprout.
Please take
our online survey.
It is
short and
only takes a minute. Click
here.
Kid
Business Program
The
Museum is kicking off
a new program to assist
young entrepreneurs,
ages eight to 18, in
developing, marketing,
packaging and selling
original products. Kids will be able to sell their products in
the newly remodeled Museum store. The program is open to all
Upper Peninsula
kids. For more information, contact Jim Edwards at (906) 226-3911,
or at jed@chartermi.net.
